XTU Holds National Academic Conference on Condensed Matter Theory and Statistical Physics

From July 15 to 18, 2016, the 19th National Academic Conference on Condensed Matter Theory and Statistical Physics was held by School of Physics and Optoelectronic Engineering at Xiangtan University. Academician of Chinese Academy of Sciences Tao Ruibao, Xing Dingyu, Xie Xincheng, Chen Xianhui, Chairman of Condensed Matter Theory and Statistical Physics Committee, Gong Xingao and President of XTU, Huang Yunqing attended the opening ceremony. And “Changjiang Scholar”, Zhong Jianxin, Dean of School of Physics and Optoelectronic Engineering hosted the conference.

Professor Huang Yunqing, President of XTU said that as the traditional fundamental subject, Physics had great achievements in disciplinary platform, faculty, scientific research, talent cultivation, ect. after 30 years development and this conference would play a crucial role in promoting discipline construction and scientific research in Physics.
