Xiangtan University Signs Cooperation Memorandum of Visiting Students with Shikoku University, Japan

Xiangtan University, Sep. 16, 2015: From September 12 to September 14, 2015, the delegation from Shikoku University, Japan led by the President Songzhong Hemei visited Xiangtan University. Professor Huang Yunqing, President of Xiangtan University and Professor Liu Changgeng, Vice President of Xiangtan University met them and signed Cooperation Memorandum of Visiting Students for both universities.

Professor Huang Yunqing said Xiangtan University had sent 20 exchange students since 4 years ago and hoped to continue and further the cooperation. In these 4 years, Xiangtan University and Shikoku University have maintained close relationship and pleasant cooperation. President Songzhong Hemei said cooperation between Xiangtan University and Shikoku University had set a successful model for cooperation since the establishment of friendly relationship between Hunan Province and Tokushima Prefecture. As the President of Shikoku University and Educational Committee of Tokushima Prefecture, he was keen on comprehensive promotion of communication and cooperation on education.

As the representative of respective university, President Huang Yunqing and President Songzhong Hemei signed Cooperation Memorandum of Visiting Students for both universities. Visiting student projects of undergraduates and postgraduates will be carried out in the field of Business Studies between Xiangtan University and Shikoku University.
