The Academic Communication on Cooperation among Three Universities from China, Japan and South Korea Held at Xiangtan University

Xiangtan University, Nov. 17, 2015: The academic communication on cooperation of Xiangtan University (China), Chiba University (Japan) and AJOU University (South Korea) was held at Xiangtan University on Nov.15, 2015. During the communication, achievements and problems in the advance cooperation projects between Sino-Japan and Sino-Korea universities have been summarized, and further cooperation plans have been discussed. Professor Xiaoshi Xinxi et al. from Chiba University and Professor Cui Rongjun et al. from AJOU University were present, reporting the latest research progresses and results respectively.

The School of Information Engineering of Xiangtan University started running cooperation projects with Chiba University in 2007. Cooperation mechanism of talent cultivation and academic research has been built up step by step since Professor Pei Tingrui from the School of Information Engineering of Xiangtan University recommending his postgraduate student Ma Jing as a Doctoral candidate to Chiba University. Ma Jing obtained the doctorate in 2013 and found the job in Japan National Institute of Communications and Informatics. Moreover, Associate Professor Li Zhetao from Xiangtan University and Professor Guanwu Daxiong from Chiba University have co-published 6 papers and co-applied 8 patents on wireless communication.
