Another Research Team from XTU Supported by Program for Innovative Research Team of Ministry of Education

After the event that the team leading by professor Zhong Jianxin from Faculty of Materials, Optoelectronics and Physics was selected as Innovative Research Team of Ministry of Education for its research on the topic of "Micro-Nano Energy Material and Device Physics" on November 8th, another team leading by professor Zhu Weiguo from the College of Chemistry was also selected as Innovative Research Team of Ministry of Education for its research on "Advanced opt-electrical Molecular Functional Materials".The supporting fund of Program for Innovative Research Team of Ministry of Education is more than one million yuan each year and it is allowed to apply for Innovative Research Team of Ministry of Education in the succeeding year separately.

The Program for Innovative Research Team of Ministry of Education aims to strengthen the high-level talents team construction, and to bring up a group of academic leaders of international advanced level and excellent innovation teams, in order to achieve the strategy of enhancing our university with talents. Since 2010, our university has been honored with four innovative research teams of Ministry of Education (including one supporting team), and the amount ranks the first among Hunan provincial colleges and universities.
