Thesis of the Research Team of Prof. Zhou Yong Listed among “Fast Breaking Papers” by Science Watch

The thesis of Nonlocal Cauchy problem for fractional evolution equations published by Professor Zhou Yong and his graduates on Nonlinear Analysis in 2010 was selected among the “Fast Breaking Papers” in mathematics by Science Watch.

The research team led by Prof. Zhou Yong got down to the research on fractional differential equation in 2008, which won financial aid from National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), the Ph.D. Programs Foundation of the Ministry of Education of China and Hunan Natural Science Foundation. They have conducted in-depth and systematic research on the basic theory and optimal control of fractional differential equation, and published a series of high-quality academic dissertations. Among them, one is short-listed among Fast Breaking Papers, four are selected in Hot Papers, ten are listed as Highly Cited Papers. Their publications are widely cited by many authoritative magazines including J. Diff. Equs., and trigger follow-up research.
