3 Disciplines of XTU Listed among International Top 1% by ESC

According to the recent statistics released in this March and May by ESI (Essential Science Indicators), chemistry, materials science and engineering of Xiangtan University ranked among the top 1% of the international universities and scientific research institutions. It marked that the three disciplines were of world high level.

The statistical data showed that Xiangtan University has published 767, 512 and 233 papers in chemistry, materials science and engineering respectively on SCI, with the average citation frequency of 5.19, 3.48 and 4.7 respectively. These figures reflected that discipline construction of our school has enjoyed sound development, proved by improvement of research capability and academic influence.
