Three Majors of XTU Approved as the Sixth Batch of Special Majors at Universities and Colleges

After recommendation of the Department of Education of Hunan Province and evaluation of experts of the Ministry of Education, three undergraduate programs of Xiangtan University, namely economics, chemistry and software engineering, have been approved as the sixth batch of special majors at universities and colleges.

This year is the last year of the “Eleventh Five-Year Plan” in terms of project-oriented construction of special majors at institutions of higher learning. Up to now, XTU has endowed with 11 state-level special majors, 24 provincial-level special majors and 15 provincial-level key majors.
