Huang Hui, Guest Visitor of Wind of Shao Mountain·Schoolfellow Forum

As one of the activities of Wind of Shao Mountain·Schoolfellow Forum to celebrate the fifty’s anniversary of Xiangtan University, Undergraduate Quality-oriented Development Exhibition and Film and TV Celebrities Report Meeting of The Fourth DV Festival of University Student, China were held in First Report Hall of Yifu Building in the evening of June 5^th. Mr. Huang Hui, a Grade 1988 schoolfellow of Department of Chinese and screenwriter of the teleplay Young Mao’s Classmates gave a report entitled Why Hunan Cultivated So Many Celebrities, which revealed the myth of success of Chairman Mao’s classmates in history for the teachers and students of his mother university.

Beginning with a couplet of Wang Kaiyun, Superior Scholar of Qing Dynasty, Huang Hui enumerated all the culture celebrities of Hunan in the long history. His humorous and plain report summarized up the deep culture element of the success of the culture celebrities of Hunan in history---Education of Huxiang School, which elicited the Hunan education featured with Being politically sensitive in one’s study and seek truth from facts. This was inherited and developed by Chairman Mao’s classmates. Mr. Huang also gradually recovered the myth of their success. After the report, Huang Hui also wrote down the inscription of Young Mao’s Classmates to keep as a souvenir for the fifty’s anniversary of his mother university.
