Prof. Peng Guofu Elected as Member of MPA Degree Education Guide Committee

Professor Peng Guofu in our university has been elected as member of the MPA Degree Education Guide Committee in the reelection conference, which was held on March 20th, 2006 in Beijing.
The new members of the MPA Degree Teaching Guide Committee were elected by the Degree Committee of the State Council and the Ministry of Education. This committee has taken Ying Weiming who is chief general secretary and vice minister of the National Personnel Department as its director. Main leaders from the Cadre Education Bureau of the Central Organization Department, the Secretary Bureau of the General Office of the State Council, the Civil Servant Administration Department and Personnel Department of the Ministry of Education and 28 national outstanding experts who are proficient in Public Administration constitute this committee.
Wu Qidi, vice minister of the Ministry of Education stressed in the conference that with the end of experimental sites of the MPA education, the degree education is being in a brilliant time for its rapid development, and we should attach more importance to the specialized degree construction as the brand of the universities and colleges.
