Huang Yunqing, Vice President of our university gave them a warm welcome. The two parties signed a memorandum afterwards.
On the morning on the same day, our Vice President, the leaders of relative departments and the delegation from University of Leon had a deep discussion on setup of curriculum, teaching contents and associated training mode etc. After opinion exchanges, they signed a memorandum. Both parties signed on an agreement concerning teaching forms, issue of diplomas and certificates, and requirements for entrance. “2+2” mode (namely, two years at home and abroad respectively) for undergraduate education will be adopted to cultivate international talents who have good foreign language and specialty abilities.
University of Leon is a national comprehensive university in Spain, established in 1803, which ranks the 17th in all Spanish universities. It will greatly promote the exploitation and development of our facilities to sign a memorandum on alliance education with University of Leon. Our course settings and teaching methods can keep up with the world better by introducing their curriculums and their teaching methods,
We exert ourselves to exploit resources abroad for cooperative education, College of International Education being founded (in preparation). At the meantime, resources from School of Foreign Languages, School of Management and School of Business are integrated to develop international “2+2” alliance education mode, introduce foreign teaching materials and talents, offer international new courses and deepen our teaching and textbook reform. At the mean time, we adopt the open policy and send teachers abroad for further education, attend scientific research or give lectures and so on to promote the teaching and scientific research of our university.
