Luo He'an Serves as the New President of Our University

On the morning of August 24, Professor Luo He'an, the new President of our university, took the office.
Doctor Luo He'an, born in 1954, a party member of the CPC, professor and doctoral supervisor of our university, graduated from Chemistry Engineering Department, Hunan University, majored in Inorganic Chemistry. He has been teaching in the Chemistry Engineering Department of XiangTan University after he got his master degree in the Chemistry Engineering Department of South China University of Technology in 1983. He was pursuing for the doctor degree as a visiting scholar in the Chemistry Engineering Department of Norway University of Technology from 1989 to 1993. After returning to our country, he successively held the posts of Deputy Director of the Chemistry Engineering Department of XiangTan University, Vice Director of the College of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, Assistant of the President, Vice President of the university, Deputy Secretary General of Party Committee of the university. At the same time, Luo He'an is the director of the Research Center of Chemical Process Simulation and Optimizing Engineering of the Ministry of Education, the key discipline director of chemistry engineering in Hunan, Vice Board Chairman of Hunan Chemistry and Chemical Engineering Institute and so on.
