Students from XTU Business School Win First Prize at 8th International Trade and Business Competition

The results of the8th International Trade and Business Competition in Chinawas announced recently. Students from the Business School of Xiangtan University (XTU) won 2 first prizes, 1 second prize,and1 third prize.XTUwon the Best Institution Organizer Award.

The teamcomposed ofTan Peiyao, Yuan Xin, Mao Chen, Liu Minyi, andZhou Fangpingwasguided by teachers Liu Qing and Ge Zhenyu; and, the teamincluding members ofYang Qian, Jin Caiqi, Luo Guangyuan, Hou Yaqian, Sun Yaqiwasguided by teachers Zi Shurong and Wei Jian. Both teamswon the first prize. Their entries arePolicy Research on China'sManufacturing Global Value ChainUpgrade under the“Dual Circulation”New Development PatternandResearch on the Impact of US Tariffs on China’s Cultural Exports under the Trade War, respectively.TeamofLv Ning guided by teachers Hou Xinshuo and Han Lei won the second prize, andteamofLiu Yongyi guided by teachers Ou Dingyu and Zhou Jing won the third prize.

The competition is a national discipline competition jointly sponsored by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT ) Commercial Branch andthe China Chamber of International Commerce (CCOIC) Chamberof Commerce. This is another national honor that the XTU Business School has achieved since it won the second prize of the international trade business simulation competition group and the first prize of the VLOG group at the 10th China University Business Elite Challenge International Trade Competition in October.
