Xiangtan University Signs Cooperation Agreement with Samara State Technical University of Russia

On December 16, Xiangtan University and Samara State Technical University of Russia held an online signing ceremony. Liu Jingang, Vice President of Xiangtan University, and Anna Zotova, Vice Rector of Samara State Technical University, signed the Memorandum of Understanding on behalf of the two universities respectively, officially establishing a friendly cooperative partnership.

Liu Jingang pointed out that against the backdrop of deepening comprehensive strategic collaborative partnership between China and Russia in the new era, the signing of the memorandum bears great significance for both universities. He expressed the hope that taking this signing as an opportunity, the two sides will further expand cooperation in talent training and academic exchanges, and advance theimplementation of cooperative projects.

Anna Zotova noted that Samara State Technical University attaches great importance to its cooperation with Xiangtan University. It is expected that this agreement will further boost exchanges and cooperation between universities in China and Russia. The two sides may start with specific disciplines, establish a regular communication mechanism, and promote the coordinated development of relevant academic fields.
