The Chinese Academic Translation Project is one of the main categories of NSSFC. It primarily supports the translation of outstanding academic works that represent the level of Chinese scholarship, embody the essence of Chinese culture, and reflect the forefront of Chinese academic research. The translations are published in foreign languages by reputable overseas publishing houses and distributed through mainstream international channels. The program aims to give full play to the guiding and demonstrative role of the NSSFC, deepen academic exchanges and dialogue between China and the rest of the world, further enhance the international influence of Chinese scholarship, and promote mutual learning among civilizations.
The approval of this project is a phased achievement ofXiangtan University’s recent efforts to serve national strategic needs, draw on its disciplinary strengths, and actively promote Chinese culture’s global outreach.
