Secretary-General of Artificial Intelligence Technology Innovation Strategic Alliance (AITISA) by the Ministry of Science and Technology.

 

His main research areas include visual information processing and neuromorphic computing. He published more than 200 academic papers (including co-authored papers), edited two monographs, drew up five national standards, four ISO/IEC standards and three IEEE standards, and obtained over 40 authorized invention patents. He also serves as council member of Chinese Institute of Electronics since 2006 and outstanding member of China Computer Federation since 2015. He won the second prize of National Science and Technology Progress Award twice, and the first prize at provincial or ministerial level for five times. He was granted with the award for achievement transformation of outstanding young researcher by China Association for Science and Technology in 2014 and Computing Now Award by IEEE Computing Society in 2013.
