Bachelor of Engineering in the National University of Defense Technology in July, 1985;

Master of Engineering in the Harbin Institute of Technology in July, 1988; and,

PhD of Engineering in the Harbin Institute of Technology in September, 1991.

 

In September 2005, he also obtained the Postgraduate Certificate in Higher Eduction (PGCHE) from the University of Hertfordshire. As of 2007, he has been served as director of Wind Power Engineering Institute at the University of Central Lancashire in UK upon its establishment. After global competition in September 2010, he was appointed chief professor of energy management science and engineering at the university (the first professor in the field of energy management science and engineering in UK).
