Professor Soon-In Lee is currently a professor of the intelligent design laboratory of Design Institute at Hongik University in South Korea, and president of the Design Alliance Asia and the South Korea 3D Printing Culture Forum. He has served as a judge for many international design contests, such as the Red dot design award, iF, Brown, Red Star, and Lotus Prize. He was also presented with the South Korea National Presidential Medal for three times (1990, 1995, and 2001).
